Every hour belongs to a planet

That's the idea behind hora. The first hora of the day starts at sunrise and belongs to the weekday's lord: the Sun on Sunday, the Moon on Monday, and so on. The rest follow in a fixed order: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon, round and round.

So on any day you get roughly an hour of Jupiter, then an hour of Mars, and so on. Traditional uses: Jupiter hora for learning and asking advice, Venus for anything social or creative, Mercury for paperwork and messages, Saturn for slow, careful jobs.

Today's hora is on the Today card under the golden windows. Tara can also tell you when the next one you want comes round.
